Presidents Message: May 2013

Hello All,

The last meeting was held on Tuesday the 14th at Four Brothers Restaurant in Mahopac. It started at 7:00 PM. We had a good turn out with lots of vendors and inspectors. There was four inspectors from two different inspection agencies and six vendors from three different companies, so there was a wealth of information in the room.

We had a very good speaker from Schneider/Square D at the meeting. She had some great new products that where money and time saving, as well as interesting. She even handed
out a card that explains how to troubleshoot an arc fault breaker.

Pat Spirelli Jr. gave a brief but very informative presentation about inside operations and new technology to give us all an edge in sales. He will have a tech spot at every meeting to try and keep us all up to date with the latest and greatest. As always there was a code discussion that involved the group as well as the inspectors.

The next meeting will be held at Four Brothers Restaurant in Mahopac at 7 on Tuesday June 11th. SWIS will be supplying a photo montage and we will be having a cocktail hour style of meeting to celebrate the end of the year. I have heard that the photos are great and we plan for buffet style food with a cash bar and very light business. Hopefully this will be a great chance to meet and mingle with friends, vendors, colleges and inspectors.

We will be starting back in September with Mr. Odell doing 45 minutes to an hour of code as well as business. (Please bring your book!) The more in attendance the more each of us can get from the meetings.

We are looking forward to seeing some old and new faces at the meeting.
