Adding a Post (President’s Message/Meeting Minutes)

In the Dashboard, hover over Posts then click on “Add New” in the sub menu. Add in your post details. On the right side of the page, choose the appropriate category and check off “Members Only” under “Access”. Note that only members that are logged in will be able to view posts marked with “Members Only”.

  • For the President’s Message, use the title structure: “President’s Message: Month Year”.
    For example, President’s Message: November 2016.
  • For the Meeting Minutes, use the title structure: “Meeting Minutes: Month Year”. For example, President’s Message: November 2016.

Adding a New Event

In the Dashboard, hover over Events then click on “Add New” in the sub menu. Add in your event details then click “Publish”. Note that anyone can view events on your website.

  • For meetings, use the title structure: “PCECA Meeting: Month Year”. For example, PCECA Meeting: November 2016.

Sending Email

In the Dashboard, hover over Tools then click on “Send Email” in the sub menu. Add in your message details then click “Send Email”. Allow a couple minutes for processing. All members will receive the email.

Add an Electrician/Directory Listings

In the Dashboard, hover over Directory then click on “Add New Listing” in the sub menu. Note that the title should be the company name. You can find first name, last name, address, etc… towards the bottom of the form. Be sure to check off the appropriate categories. All electrician listings should have the “Electricians” category checked off. Make sure you click “Publish”.

Update Electrician/Directory Listings

In the Dashboard, click on “Directory” in the left side navigation menu. You can use the search box (top right) to enter the name of the person whose listing you need to edit. Once you find the person hover over the listing title (company name) and a sub menu with an Edit link will display. Note that the title should be the company name. You can find first name, last name and address towards the bottom of the form. Make sure you click “Update”. This will save any changes that you have made.
